You have most likely heard of the unfortunate data breaches at retailers. Please be assured, KCCU takes these situations very seriously and we are committed to protecting you and your data. To help safeguard your information, KCCU protects your debit and credit cards with the highest level of fraud protection service available. This service constantly monitors member card activity for possible fraud. When charges appear on a member’s cards that are out of their ordinary spending patterns, the fraud protection service may block the card due to suspicious activity. We also recommend you review your accounts and statements for any irregularities. If you notice a purchase that isn’t yours, please contact a Member Service Representative at 269.968.9251 or 800.854.5421. If it is after-hours and we are not available, please call the number listed on the back of your card so we can immediately block your card.

Important Update:

Be aware that phone and email phishing scams may be sent out that appear to be from a retailer, but are not. These are deceitful attempts to obtain card holder information with the intent of committing fraud against member accounts. These fraudulent attempts to capture card number PINs and personal information are done through automated telephone services or links within emails or text messages. Proceed with caution if you receive a phone call, email, or text from a retailer. Do not open any links that may be included in these messages as this could potentially allow additional access to your personal information, and do not give out any personal information over the phone or via email. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at 269.968.9251 or stop by any branch to speak with a member service representative.
